The Ixxat 1 SI CANopen is a compact module for SIMATIC ET200S modular I/O systems, offering an easy and cost-effective way to connect CANopen devices. It enables seamless integration and control of CAN/CANopen networks via PROFIBUS or PROFINET, without extra gateways, facilitating the expansion of automation systems and increasing their efficiency.
The Ixxat 1 SI CANopen seamlessly integrates CANopen devices with SIMATIC ET200S systems, enabling smooth interaction between PROFIBUS or PROFINET controllers and CAN/CANopen fieldbus devices.
With the possibility to connect up to 126 CANopen responder nodes in commander mode, the module offers scalable system expansion without significant cost increase.
The isochronous operation mode supports efficient real-time communication, which is essential for time-sensitive applications.
The Ixxat 1 SI CANopen module can be smoothly replaced during operation without system shutdown, minimizing downtimes.
Uncomplicated configuration thanks to integration into the hardware catalogue of the SIMATIC STEP 7 or TIA Portal configuration environment.

The ixxat 1 SI CANopen module is supported by all interface and CPU modules of the SIMATIC ET200S modular I/O sytem, with the exception of the Basic and Compact versions.
